David M. Turner

Passed away peacefully at the Bath VA Hospital, Bath, NY on Thursday, January 7, 2010. Mr. Turner was born in Sayre, PA on Oct 21, 1923, the son of the late Percy and Mary Granger Turner. His wife Mary E. (Thomas) Turner predeceased him on September 9, 1995. Mr. Turner is survived by a son John ( Paula ) Turner of Savona, NY and their children Christopher, Jill, Rebecca and Jackie, a son Paul ( Carol Witkowski) Turner of Corning and their children Vanessa and Kyle and a son Steve Turner of Pine City. Mr. Turner was a US Army veteran of WWII and past president of the New York Chapter 94th Division. He worked for Remington Rand and LRC Electronics as a Process Engineer.Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira/Southport on Sunday, January 10, 2010, from 2 to 4 PM with funeral services at 4 PM officiated by Lay Pastor John Knapp. Mr. Turner will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Mary at Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira on Monday , January 11, 2010 at 11 AM.
