Delbert G. Giragosian

Age 64, of Horseheads, NY, a native of Binghamton, NY, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. Born in Binghamton, NY the son of the late George and Cecele Giragosian, Del is survived by his wife, Francine Frankie Giragosian; sister, Dr. Sandra Giragosian; children, Frank (Beth) Giragosian, Diane (Mark), FaithAnn Goodell, and Steven Wright; numerous grandchildren and one great grandchild; also survived by very close friends, Donnie & Anita Brown and Dale Grider. Delbert was a long time member of the Institute Of Divine Metaphysical Research and served as their New York State Treasurer for over 20 years. He moved to Elmira, NY in 1964 and became the owner/operator of Chemung Heating and Building Company. In 1972 he purchased several Pudgie Pizza franchises and later changed them to Papa Gs with locations in Binghamton, NY, Sayre, PA and Elmira Heights, NY.The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. from 1:00 to 3:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM and also on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 from 1:00 to 3:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service there Wednesday at 8:00 PM.
