Diane M Smith

Age 43, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 7, 2014 at her home. Diane was born in Elmira on July 10, 1970. She was the daughter of Barry and Diane (Gilliland) Beard. Diane was predeceased by her brother, Barry Beard and grandmother, Anna Gilliland. She is survived by her mother and father, fiancé Jeffrey Coolbaugh Sr. and her children and grandchildren, Joseph Smith (Rachael), Logan, Nadia Kitchen, Christina Smith (Chris) Smith, Cameron, Caylee Lewis, Daniel Smith (Grace), Zachary, Anne, Johnathan Smith, and Samantha Smith; brothers, Harold "Mike" (Lori) and Timothy Beard; along with several nieces, nephews, family and friends. Diane was a graduate from Southside High School and pursued a career in the nursing profession at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. She was an outgoing person with a big heart. Her favorite times were those when she was surrounded by family, especially gatherings and the holidays. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Friday, March 15, 2014 from 11:00 to 1:00 PM. Funeral services honoring her life will follow the visitation at 1 PM. Reverend Larry Burke will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
