Donald S. â??´Buckã‚´ (Y)â?? Simpson

Age 73 of West First Street, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2004 unexpectedly at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was born January 14, 1931 in Hector, NY the son of the late Vernon A. and Beatrice G. (Hill) Simpson. His loving wife, Beverly M. Simpson and his 2 brothers predeceased him. Donald is survived by his beloved children, Albert L. Griswold of Elmira, NY; Marsalee (Don) Bellgraph of Midway, GA; Durland Griswold of Savannah, GA; Miracle Williams (Rick Painter) of Elmira, NY; Donald Simpson (fiancée Jennifer Keller) of Horseheads, NY; along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Donald was a Veteran of the US Army and proudly served his country. He retired from Westinghouse Corp. and IST after many years of dedicated service. In his spare time he loved to fish, and found it to be relaxing and enjoyable. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. on Tuesday, March 23, 2004 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 PM. Funeral Services will be held there on Wednesday, March 24th at 1:00 PM. The Reverend Anne Mowrey will officiate. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery where the Chemung County Veterans Honor Squad will accord Mr. Simpson full Military Honors.
