Bement, Donald G. DonAge 74 of Alder Run Rd. Millerton, Pa. Passed away Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008 at home. Don was born in Elmira, NY April 26th, 1933. The son of the late George and Ellene Andrews Bement. Wife Mary Bement of Elmira; Children Debbie (Rob) Rogers of Horseheads, NY, Donald (Edie) Bement of Gillett, Pa, Dennis (Marie) Bement of Elmira Heights, NY, Lynn Parise Vestal, NY; Grandchilden: Teresa Antes, Bradley Powell, Donald Bement III, Shelayna Johnson, Jason Diehr, Shawn Bement, Hunter Parise; Great grandchildren: Jessica Jones, Abigail Jones, Jaimi Antes; Sisters Virgilene (Harry) Miller of Florida, Wilda (Hal) DeHaas of Pine City, NY Brother; Tommy Bement of Millerton, Pa; Several nieces and nephews; very special friend Steven Stadelmaier of Colorado. In addition to Dons parents he is also predeceased by his sisters Frances and Vanetta. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY Friday, January 25th, 2008 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM. A Memorial Service will be held at the conclusion of the calling hours at 9:00PM. The Reverend Douglas Hodge will officiate. Don was a member of the Carpenters Union Local #532 for 56 years. Having worked for Wellco (Wellivers), Streeter and Associatesand many other construstion companies in the area for many of those years. He was aUS Army veteran of the Korean War. Don was a member of the National Turkey Federation, and NRA. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed hunting and the wildlife surrounding his home in the beautiful hills of Tioga county. He was always ready to take a picture of, or give a free meal to the many animals around his home. Don truly loved all of them.Please make memorials in Donald G.
