Don?s journey on earth began October 29, 1935 in Troy PA after 67 years, Don entered into the presence of his Lord and eternal life on June 8, 2003, at his home surrounded by his loving family, following an extended illness. Survived by his loving wife and best friend of 48 years, Melba; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry LeRoy and Jill Campbell of Walnut Bottom, PA; Douglas DeVoe and Linda Campbell of Dillsburg, PA; daughter and son-in-law, Trudy Dianne and Andy Boyden of Newport, PA; granddaughters, Rebecca of Canton, PA; Chelsea and Lily of Walnut Bottom, PA; grandsons, Rick and Jeremiah of Allentown, PA; Jason of Camp Hill, PA; Christopher and Andrew of Lawrenceville, PA; Michael of Newport, PA; Shawn of Dillsburg, PA; great grandson, Noah; aunt, Ruth Foust of Canton, PA; cousins, Mike of Muncy, PA; Dana of CO; Sherry of Granville Summit, PA. He was predeceased by his mother, Ora (Stevens) Campbell and maternal grandparents, Leroy and Dora Stevens all of Troy, PA. Don retired from Westinghouse with 35 years of faithful service. He was involved with the following: little league manager, Wells Township Park Committee and day camp teacher. He enjoyed hunting, playing golf and was a devout Chicago Cubs fan. Don was a very active member of the Mosherville Bible Church and a charter member of the Fellowship Bible Church in Troy, PA. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Thursday, June 12, 2003 from 6 to 9 PM and Friday, June 13th from 10 to 11 AM, followed with an 11:00 AM service officiated by Reverend Robert Bevins and Lewis Newkirk. Immediately following the service, burial will be at the family site in the Park Cemetery in Canton, PA. Memorial donations may be sent to Hospice, envelopes will be available at the funeral home or memorial donations may be mailed to the Mosherville Bible Church R. R. # 2 Gillett, PA 16925. Pallbears will be son: Douglas Campbell, oldest grandsons of each family, Rick Campbell, Chirstopher Salatino, Shawn Campbell, son-in-law, Andy Boyden, nephew, Peter Wotowiec, brother-in-law, Gerry Lekowski, brother-in-Christ, Vaughn Ames.
