Donald "Don" E. Hostrander

HOSTRANDER, Donald "Don" E. Age 71 of Bath, NY passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 at the Bath VA, with his loving daughter by his side. Don was born on December 3, 1945 in Williamsport, PA, the son of Francis and Betty Jean (Campman) Hostrander. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, John Hostrander; nephew, Richard Hostrander; and grandson, Kyle Lenhardt. Don is survived by his daughter, Bridgette Leske-Heed; and granddaughter, Jordayn (Dustin) Warriner; step-son, Christopher Cleary (sons, Keven and Ryan); brother, Leslie (Elaine) Hostrander; sisters, Barb Hostrander and Sandy Lagonegro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Don loved his family, friends and his "girls" at the Bath VA Nursing Home and Hospice Care. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, his pets and was an avid movie buff. He was a 1964 graduate of Elmira Free Academy and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1966-70 with time served in the Vietnam War. A private service will be held by the family at their convenience and he will be laid to rest at the Rural Home Cemetery, Big Flats, NY.
