Donald L HouseknechtAge 90 of Elmira, NY passed away peacefully on Monday November 26, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by; sons, Larry ( Mary) Houseknecht, and Alan Houseknecht, Daughter; daughter,Dona Lea Houseknecht. Also numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Donald was predeceased by his loving wife of 48 years, Stella Florence Housknecht, also four brothers and one sister. Donald was a Sergeant in the United States Army with the 184th Infantry Regiment during WW II.He was a former member of the Elmira Eagles Club and an Avid hunter and fisherman.It was Donald’s request that there be no calling hours and a Graveside Service will be held Friday November 30, 2012 at 1:00 PM in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PAIn lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorials to the Alzheimer Association, 439 E.
