Donald W. Wilson

Age 82, a lifelong and well known resident of the Millerton, Pa community, passed away Monday, March 15th, 2010 at home. Donald was the son of the late Delos F. and Mary (Barrett) Wilson born on August 10th, 1927 in Elmira. He is survived by wife of 60 years Eloise (Gaige) Wilson; daughter; Patricia (Bob) Burket of Linden, PA; son: Brian K. Wilson of Gillett, PA; daughters; Carol (Ralph) Roy of Linden, PA, Anne (Chet) Trostle of Williamsport, PA; grandchildren: Christopher (Heather) Burket, Jonathan (Marta) Burket, Michael, Tyler Roy and Elliott Wilson, Emily, Audrie and Cayman Trostle, Lindsey, Kurt and Korey Fovel; sister; Janice (Reverend Bob) Southworth of Unadilla, NY; Sister in law, Marion Wilson of Brookline, NH. Many special nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by his brother Reverend Robert Wilson. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY Friday, March 19th, 2010 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM and Saturday, March 20th from 12:00PM to 2:00PM. Funeral and committal services will follow the calling hours at 2:00PM. The Reverend Gilbert Mitchell and Pastor Jennifer Wolf will officiate. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Don worked at Albee Body shop and farmed, was then the owner and proprietor of Wilson's Body shop in Millerton, and a well known bus contractor in the area for many years. He was an active member of the Millerton United Methodist Church and enjoyed the mission work he shared with Eloise.
