Donna C. Snyder

Passed away at home on Sunday, December 23, 2012 after a brief illness, surrounded by her family. She was 86. She will be sorely missed. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. One of her greatest joys in life was her family. She loved being the mother of six girls and she cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an unselfish and caring soul, putting family first and doing whatever she could to make sure her family members were taken care of. She also was enthusiastic about traveling with her husband during the 60’s and 70’s to Japan, Hawaii, Europe, Russia, Mexico and Africa. And she loved reading, golf and playing bridge with her friends and cribbage with her grandchildren. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, Dr. King Roger Snyder, her son-in-law Smith (Smitty) Murrin, her grandson Aaron Ray Karavish, her parents Bernice (Barber) and Raymond Corson, her brother Lloyd Corson and dear friends Shirley Young, Patricia Powers, Bonnie Cooperman, Mabel Munday, Donna Mavor, Jane Jones and Mary Stewart. She is survived by her daughters Sherry Murrin, Judith Snyder, Catherine Snyder, Barbara Snyder, Christina (John) Davis and Beth (Steven) Spaziani; grandchildren David (Shannon) Murrin, Elizabeth Ward (Hannah Allen), Brian (Megan) Karavish, Benjamin Davis, James (Elina) Davis, Dr. Michelle Spaziani (fiancé Andy Malnoske) and Alison Spaziani; great-grandchildren Riley Amanda Murrin, Hailey Orlaine Murrin, Brian King Karavish, Kelly Mary Karavish, Molly Elizabeth Allen and Liam Aaron Allen.There will be no calling hours. Interment and a memorial service will be held a later date at the convenience of the family.
