Dorothy May Collson

Age 99 of Elmira, NY passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital Saturday May 21, 2011. She is Survived by son; Ralph (Jean) VanPatten, Jr., of Elmira, NY; daughter, Sandra L. (George) Randall of Horseheads, NY; grandchildren, Michael ( Lisa) VanPatten of NJ, ZoeAnn (Michael) Sheahan, of Lowman NY; great grandchildren, Heather, Tara, Ryan, Megan of Virginia. JasonAdam of Elmira, Michael and Megan Sheahan, of Horseheads, NY; great great granddaughter, Emma Grace, also several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased, by her parents William and Etta (Doloway) Collson; brothers Merle and William Collson; sisters, Mildred Miller, and Marge Vetter; alsograndson, Steve Cordier. It was Dorothy's request that there be no calling hours and a private Memorial Service to be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery.She was a member of Central Christian Church, a retired employee ofSears where she workedfor many years and, a volunteer forRSVP and The AmericanRed Cross.
