Dorothy Juanita (Crain) Johnson Age 90, formerly of Spruce Street was born June 19, 1924 in Elmira Heights, NY the daughter of the late Charles and Mabel (Whalen) Crain; passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Bethany Manor in Horseheads, NY where she resided. Dottie graduated from Vestal High School in 1942. She was a former employee of Excel Dairy and retired from the Howell Box Company. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stanley in 1994 and her brother, William Kriner in 2002. Dorothy is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law: Laurie and Jack Bellephine of Everett, WA; nephews: Daniel (Arlene) Johnson of Greene, NY; Ed (Connie) Kriner of Smyrna, TN; RobertKriner of Conway, SC; nieces: Faith Kriner of Brooksville, FL; Marlene (Russell) Sawbridge of Newfield, NY; along with many great nieces and great nephews. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. Funeral services honoring her life will follow the visitation at 3 PM. Deacon Doug Farwell will officiate. Interment will take place in the Woodlawn Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with Stanley.
