Dorothy A. Nelson

Was born November 22, 1905 in Staten Island, NY the daughter of the late Adam and Marie (Spatz) Walz passed away peacefully on Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center at the age of 105. In 1958 her loving husband, Robert Nelson predeceased her. Her sister and brother-in-law, Edna Marie and James LeRoy Sleight and nephew, Arthur Sleight also preceded her in death. She is survived by her beloved nephew, Russell (Barbara) Sleight of Horseheads, NY; along with several great nieces and great nephews. Dorothy retired from the Luxor Beauty Shop in Middletown, NY after several years of faithful service as a hair dresser. At her request there will be o prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service celebrating Dorothy's life on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Reverend Christopher Linsler will officiate.
