age 81 of Elmira, NY passed away into peace, Wednesday, December 8th, 2010 at the Skilled Nursing Unit of St. Josephs Hospital. Dorothy was born August 14th, 1929 in McGraw, NY the daughter of the late Ned and Rena (Smith) Welsh. She is predeceased by her husband Leonard H. Satterlee, June 11th, 1997 and her brother Ralph Welsh. SurvivingDot are her three children; Stephen Satterlee of Elmira, Scott (Barbara) Satterlee of Horseheads, Carol Bourbeau of Sarasota, FL; four grandchildren; Erin Herrick, Katie Satterlee, Kelly Fesetch, Leonard Satterlee; great grandchild; Lucas Herrick, Olivia Herrick, Ava Herrick, Nathan Patchen, Kayla Patchen, and Brianna Fesetch; brother, Kenneth (Lynette) Welsh of McGraw, NY along with several nieces, nephews and numerous extended friends and family in Phoenix, AZ.Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY Sunday, December 12th, 2010 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. Funeral service to follow at the conclusion of calling hours. The Reverend William Vallett will officiate.Interment services will be held at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira at the family's convenience.Dot was a home maker most of her life. She loved being a mom, grandmother, and "GG". She was a devoted New York Yankees fan. She liked to volunteer for the Corning Classic. She loved travelling, she and Len traveled extensively visiting over 35 countries and RVing across the country many times.
