Dortha M. Gridley

Age 90 of Lindley, NY passed away at home on December 6, 2002. She was born June 13, 1912 in the Town of Thurston, the daughter of the late Ray and Eva Colegrove Woodhouse. Dortha was predeceased by her husband, Ernest M. Gridley, son, Henry Gridley, and grandson, Paul Hill. She is survived by her daughter; Ernestine (Wesley) Barnes of Savannah, NY, son; Morris A. (Evelyn) Gridley, Sr. of Caton, NY, 7 grandsons; Mark Hill, Williamson, NY, Drew Hill, Fair Haven, NY, John Hill, Owego, NY, Morris Gridley, Jr., Corning, NY, Kevin Gridley, Lindley, NY, Mahlon Gridley, Lindley, NY, Maynard Gridley, Corning, NY; niece, JoAnn Johnson & nephew, Richard Palmer, both of Messa, AZ; 18 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Caton Methodist Church, Caton, NY on Saturday, December 14, 2002 at 4:00 PM. The Reverend Betty Bement will officiate. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Caton, NY at the convenience of the family. Family will provide their own flowers.
