Was born April 17, 1931 in Elmira, the daughter of the late William and Lula (DeLong) Clark, and the last of her 6 siblings, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at her home in Lauderdale Lakes, FL at the age of 83. Joan grew up in Elmira, was a 1949 graduate of Southside High School, attended Brigham Young University and was a property manager while residing in Elmira.She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mrs. Clay is survived by her loving husband, George Blaine Clay Sr. with whom she would have celebrated 64 wonderful years of life and love this June 1st. She is also survived by her beloved children: George Blaine Clay Jr. (Marsha) of Landenberg, PA; Jeannette Hepburn (Charles) of Nibley, Utah; Edward Clay (Susan) of Spencer, WV; Juanita Weller (Randy) of Lauderdale Lakes, FL; Michelle Mayer (Laurence) of Glen Bernie, MD; Diana O'Conner (Alan) of San Antonio, TX; along with 32 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Friday, May 23, 2014 at Woodlawn Cemetery 1200 Walnut Street Elmira at 3:00 PM.
