Earl E. Stewart, Jr. a native of Elmira, NY and resident of Pine City, NY passed away suddenly on August 30, 2025. He was a hard-working and industrious jack-of-all trades, a talented mechanic, and occasionally a good deer hunter. He was generous and well-respected throughout the community as a good neighbor and friend. He was best known as “Pa Pa” and took great pride in caring for his family; he leaves behind a legacy of love that extends for generations.
In addition to his parents, the late Earl and Betty (Bowman) Stewart, Sr. he was preceded in death by his brother James Stewart.
He is survived by: his beloved wife of 42 years, Linda Marie (Benson) Stewart; his children – Lori A. Stewart, Thomas Stewart (Theresa), Mark Voorhees (Audrey), Missy Ripley, and Joel Voorhees (Kristy); his grandchildren – Austin, Olivia, Dylan, Nathan (Alejandra), Bryce (Ryan), Jacob, Cole, Landon, Nolan, and Grayden; his great-grandchildren – Aurora, and Hudson; his brother Duane Stewart (Melody); his niece and nephew Holly Zaffarese (Mike), and Adam Stewart (Brenda); his great-nieces and -nephews - Brock, Zachary, and Aubrey; his sister-in-law Pat Stewart and her son James Stewart (Jessica); many sisters- and brothers-in-law; long-time friend Ernie White; and his faithful dog Mikah.
The family would like to thank Shane Balmer and Colby Moretz for their love and support.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of his life on Saturday September 13, 2025 from 1:00 PM- 4:00 PM at the Stewart Family Campgrounds in Pine City, NY.
