Edgar P. Salmon

Age 84 of Spruce Street, Elmira, NY, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2002 at home. He was born June 30, 1918 in Elmira, the son of the late Pierson and Crete (Chapman) Salmon. Edgar was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lillian (Brown) Salmon on January 14, 1993. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Geraldine Salmon of Elmira, NY; nieces, Janet (Joseph) Crowley of Hornell, NY; Carol (Paul) Gizzi of Fairport, NY; Kathleen (Edward) Coons of Rochester, NY. Edgar retired from the Remington Rand as Assembly Foreman after several years of faithful and dedicated service. Interment will take place privately in the Woodlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY.
