Edmund Thomas JankowskiAge 62 of South Broadway, Elmira, NY, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 7th,2013 at home. He was born in Elmira, NY on June 24th, 1950; the son of the late Leonard and Minnie (Rice) Jankowski. Surviving are his children: Timothy Jankowski of Romulus, NY, Melissa Jankowski of Elmira, and Amanda (Justin) Pronti also of Elmira; one grandson, Gavin Fisk; brother: John (Bonnie) Jankowski of Elmira, sisters:Joann (Kenny) Birosh of Roulette, PA, Sandra Neefe of Roulette, PA, Betty Shalkowski of Roulette, PA, Maryanne(Mike) Ritzick of Harleysville, PA, Donna (Robert) Gates of Las Vegas, NV. In addition to his parents Ed was predeceased by his brothers: Donald Jankowski, Ronald Jankowski, and his sister: Barbara Jankowski. Ed was a faithful employee of John G. Ryan here in Southport for many years. He loved to ride his motorcycle, bowling and was an avid fisherman. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY Thursday, April 11th, 2013 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM. Funeral services will follow at the conclusion of the calling hours at 6:00PM.
