Edward C. Daniels

Edward C. DanielsBorn on September 17, l935 in Sayre, PA. He was predeceased by his parents Edward E. and Louise and brother Sidney. Edward was employed by Ingersoll-Rand, Athens, PA and IBM Corp.He was a life member and past president of both Sayre Fire Dept. Engine 1 and Ambulance Corps. (now Greater Valley Emergency Medical Service).He also was a member of the Penn-York Highlanders for 45 years and the Elks, Moose and Masonic Lodge. Edward was survived by his wife Virginia (Squires) Parker Daniels, Virginia's foster son Reverend Lawrence C. Krause, son Paul R. and granddaughter Brittany Jane, sisters Jessie Louise Wolcott and Paula Cleveland and brother Fred Daniels. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends. He spent many happy seasons in sunny Florida. Calling hours will be Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY. Memorial Services will be held following calling hours at 1 PM. The Rev. Richard Elliott will officiate. Graveside Services will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery directly following the service.
