Edward John Howells

Age 56 of Elmira, NY passed away very unexpectedly on Friday November 9, 2007 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. He is survived by his children; Julie (Ted) Hobczuk, and John E. (Ellen Rae) Howells, grandchildren; Nathan, Haley, Ian, Brooke, and Savannah, father; Edward Howells, sisters, Jan (Mike) Gay, and Laurie (Neil) Blackwood, brother, Glen Howells, several nieces and nephews, extended family, Jason, Mathew, Brandon, and Michael Howells, ex-wife and best friend, Susan K. Allen. His mother, Mabel Cory and best friend and brother Mark Huff predeceased him. John enjoyed hunting and was a hunting instructor for many years. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave.On Tuesday November 13, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with Funeral and Committal Service there at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
