Edward C. Ruth

Age 76 formerly of Elmira, NY passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2004 at the WNY VA Healthcare Systems in Buffalo, NY. He was born September 15, 1927 in Elmira, NY the son of the late George and Ruth (Loveless) Ruth. Edward is survived by his loving daughters, Anna Rhodes of Bath, NY; Brenda Ryan of Elmira, NY; beloved grandchildren, Kimberly Whitaker, Kylie Rhodes, Camara Ryan and Isaiah Ryan all of Elmira, NY; brothers, George Ruth of New London, CT; Robert Ruth of Pine City, NY; along with several nieces and nephews. Connie Verguson of Elmira, NY also survives him. Edward retired from General Electric after several years of dedicated service. He was a Veteran of the US Navy and proudly served his country during WW II. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Friday, February 6, 2004 from 10 to 11 AM. Funeral Services will be held there at the conclusion of the visitation. (11:00 AM) The Reverend Donald Hoff will officiate.
