Edward J. Smith

Age 92 of Elmira Heights, NY passed away on Saturday January 8, 2011 at Chemung County Nursing Facility. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Virginia L. Smith; son, Gary E. (Corenna) Smith; grandchildren, Christina (Larry) McCloud, Scott, Bradley and Steven Smith; also four great grandchildren. Edward proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired in 1980 from Facet Enterprises after many years of service. It was his request that there be no calling hours and a Private Funeral Service be held at the convenience of the family.
