Age 90 of Elmira, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira.Edwin is survived by his wife, Alice (Buckbee) Wainwright; brother, Lester R. Wainwright; daughter, Vaughirene Taylor; grandchildren, Tommy (Pam) Taylor; Edwin Taylor; Lester (Jennifer) Taylor; John (Jody) Taylor; David (Krysta) Bernhardt; Richard (Hollie) Taylor; great-grandchildren, Andrea Taylor, Stephanie Taylor; Kelli Taylor; Gabrielle and Bailey Taylor; and one niece. He was predeceased by his parents, George and May (Roper) Wainwright; sister, Roseland; and brother, Herbert.Edwin was a member of the U.S.B.C. (Elmira Bowling Association, YBA Bowling Association); the EBA (Elmira Bowling Association) Hall of Fame; was an avid crafter; formerly belonged to the Elmira Coin Club and the ?Flat Wheel Division? Train Club; and was retired from F.M. Howell Co.Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira on Friday, July 22, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.Funeral services will be held there on Saturday, July 23, 2005 at 11:30 AM, with Rev.
