Eleanor J. Latterell

Was born February 13, 1931 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Grant and Ethel (Horton) Storms Sr. went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, February 24, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her father, Grant and step-mother, Winifred; brother, Robert Storms, sister, Marion Henderson, brother and sister-in-law, Grant and Judy Storms Jr. Her beloved children, Sherry Latterell Hayes and David Latterell also predeceased her. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Ernest C. "Bucky" Latterell; children, Tom M ( Christine ) , Chappy (Mary), Debbie, Tammie, Darcy, Lisa(Richard Harper), Millie and Marian; along with over 60 grand, great & great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and her church families. Eleanor graduated Southside High school and retired from Millbrook Bread. She was a servant of the Lord at Elmira Christian Center and Frontline Family Ministry. She ministered with her beloved husband at the Bradford County Nursing Facility and the Woodbrook Retirement Home where she ministered her musical gift on the piano. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Elmira Christian Center 235 East Miller Street Elmira, NY on Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Funeral services honoring her life will be celebrated at the end of the visiting. (6 PM) Reverend David Cook , Reverend Belvy White and Reverend Randy Jackson will officiate. Interment will take place on Friday at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Elmira, NY at 11 AM. Eleanor's guestbook may be signed in obituaries at www.olthof.com.
