Elizabeth Kerr

Age 79, of Kinner Hill Road, Pine City, NY, passed away in peace surrounded by her loving family on March 29th, 2007 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Louise (Comfort) Seymour. Elizabeth was predeceased by her loving husband and friend of 60 years, Arthur E. Kerr; sisters, Jeanette Kerr, Sue Criss; brothers, Pete Seymour, Bill Seymour, Gene Seymour, Jerry Seymour. She is survived by her loving children; Rodney (Faye) Kerr of Caton, NY, Carolyn (David) Burnham of Elmira, Arthur J. (Julie) Kerr of Pine City, Douglas (Pat) Kerr of Pine City, Barbara (Paul) Daniels of Pine City, Nancy (Russell) Purvis of Lowman, Susan (Ronald) Stanton of Elmira, Robert (Kathy) Kerr of Elmira; 36 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren; brother, Bud (Leah) Seymour of Big Pond; sister-in-law, Mick Seymour of Pine City; brother-in-law, Willy Criss of CT; brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Betty Serface of TN; sister-in-law, Mary Carpenter of FL and many loved nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY on Saturday, March 31st, 2007 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. Funeral services will be conducted there Sunday, April 1st, 2007 at 2:00PM. Lay Pastor John P. Knapp will officiate. Graveside services will follow in the Fitzsimmons Cemetery, Southport. Betty worked for many years at Diamond Dry Cleaners until she retired to enjoy her grandchildren. A very special Thank You to Pat Kerr and Southern Tier Hospice and others for helping with mothers care.Betty was a very caring and giving person.
