Elizabeth F. MillerAge 88 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at St. Josephs Hospital. Elizabeth was born in Washingtonville, PA, the daughter of the late Maurice and Mary Bieber. Besides her parents she was predeceased by three sisters: Wilda Miller of Stanley, NY, Charlotte Levan of Ocala, FL and Helen McMahon of Fountain Valley, CA and one brother Britton W. Bieber of Muncy, PA. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Clarence Miller of Elmira, NY, one daughter Betsy (Brian) Ward and two grandchildren Sean and Ian Ward all of Mundelein, IL, a brother Marvin E. Bieber of Brandon, Fl, and nieces and nephews.Mrs. Miller was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and enjoyed painting, gardening and was an accomplished seamstress. She was a waitress at Moretti's Restaurant and the Elmira Country Club. Family and friends are invited to Bethany Lutheran Church, 256 South Walnut St., Elmira on Friday, April 11th from 11:00 AM till 12:30 PM. A funeral and committal service honoring Elizabeths life will be held at 12:30 PM with Pastor Abigail Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY. Memorials may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church, the SPCA Animal Shelter.
