Elizabeth Taggi

Was born November 9, 1924 in Dundee, NY the daughter of the late Ignacy and Josephine (Tylka) Dlugosh, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2006 at the Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY. Her siblings, John, Walt, Mary, Rosie, Hon and Agnes predeceased her. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, Julius L. Taggi; beloved children, son, Richard Taggi; daughters and son-in-laws, Diane and Timothy Hewitt; Sharon and Dale Culver; much-loved grandchildren, Dr. Elizabeth Hewitt, Kathryn Hewitt and Patrick Hewitt; Seth Culver and Nathan Culver; brothers, Thomas Dlugosh; John Mars; sisters, Ann Calveric, Virginia Lott and Josephine Moore; brother-in-law, Albert (Ann) Taggi; along with many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by, close friends, Jackie Kiser, Pat Dickinson, Marisa Collins and Dorothy Hoskins. Elizabeth retired from the US Postal Service in 1984 after 20 dedicated years of service as a postal clerk. She was a communicant of St. Casimir Church. At her request there will be no prior calling hours.
