Elizabeth J. Wilson

Elizabeth J. "Tish" Wilson Age 88, was born March 12, 1928 in Elmira the daughter of the late Hugh Owen and Helen Anna Esther (Corliss) Jones, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the Robert Packer Hospital. Her loving husband of 64 years, Raymond F. Wilson preceded her in death on March 18th, 2016. She is survived by her beloved children: Katherine Arrant of Virginia Beach, VA; Beth (Michael) Hansen of Lockwood, NY; Susan (John) Zink of Seattle, WA; four grandchildren: Amy (PJ) Steck, Christopher (Stacie) Hansen, Jeremy (Amanda) Zink and Jordan Zink; three great grandchildren: Natalie, Briana and Emma; along with several nieces and nephews. "Tish" retired from Powers Manufacturing in Elmira as a receptionist after many years of dedicated service. She was a longtime member of the North Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed making candy out of her home “Seasonal Sweets” and she also enjoyed the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren. Memorial services celebrating Elizabeth's life will be held in the North Presbyterian Church, 921 College Ave. Elmira, NY on Saturday, May 21st at 2:00 PM. The Reverend Doctor Cheryl Ann Elfond will officiate. Private interment will be held in the Woodlawn National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Congregational Care Fund at North Presbyterian Church.
