Elouise Ruth Sproule

Was born October 14, 1921 in Millerton, PA the daughter of the late Bert and Leona (Wheeler) White, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 4, 2006 at Bethany Manor Horseheads, NY at the age of 84. Her former husband, John Sproule Jr., 3 brothers, 1 sister and son-in-law, Richard Peckham, predeceased her. Elouise is survived by her beloved children, daughter, Evelyn Peckham of Pine City, NY; son and daughter-in-law, James and Frances Sproule of Horseheads, NY; 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren; brothers, Donald (Rena) White of Millerton, PA; Wayne (Beverly) White of South Carolina; along with several nieces and nephews. Elouise previously owned and operated the 11th Ward. She enjoyed flowers and the outdoors, but most of all she loved and cherished her family. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Thursday, June 8, 2006 at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, followed by a time of sharing and reflecting by friends and family.
