Elsie E. Stevens

Elsie Stevens Of Horseheads, NY Passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at home. Elsie was born to Adeline C. (Robinson) and Claude Stevens in their Southport, NY home on May 28, 1921. Elsie's parents predeceased her as did her siblings, Chester, Francis, John, Richard and Vera. Elsie is survived by her sister, Betty Noyes of Horseheads, NY and her lifelong friend, Joyce King. Elsie retired after 31 years of employment at Corning Glass in the consumer products division's accounting office. There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend Graveside Services on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Woodlawn Cemetery. (The procession will assemble at the Walnut Street entrance to Woodlawn Cemetery) The Reverend Leanne Zeck will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to a charity of one's choice in memory of Elsie.
