Elva Lenore Granger

Elva Lenore Granger Was born January 16, 1947 in Elmira, the daughter of the late Glenn and Della Cobb. She passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center at the age of 69. She was preceded in death by her 5 brothers. On June 29, 1969 Elva married the love of her life, Thomas C. Granger. They have enjoyed and celebrated 47 wonderful years of life and love together. Her survivors include children: Thomas G. Granger, Walter W. (Jennifer) Granger, Sue L. Granger, Jimmy (Susan) Granger, Lisa Wood (Greg), Mary (Mo) Campbell and Christopher Granger; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; brother, Gordon Cobb; along with several nieces and nephews. For many years Elva worked with her husband at the Joycrest Skating Rink and have many cherished memories of the time they spent together at the rink. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Elva on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 3:30 to 6:00 PM at the Joycrest Skating Ring 1570 Lake Street Elmira, NY.
