Emily Marian Russell

Emily Marian Russell age 24 of Pine City went to be with the Lord, her personal Savior, very unexpectedly Sunday September 9, 2012. She is survived by her loving parents Rich and Pam Russell who miss her with all of their heart, her grandmother Doris Russell, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She leaves behind her dog Lily who was her pride and joy. She was predeceased by her brother Cory, maternal grandparents Burley and Marian Green and her paternal grandfather Kenneth Russell. Emily was an English teacher for the Elmira City Schools District, a Sunday school teacher and assistant director of First Fruits Creative Ministries. She had a love for youth and touched many lives. She enjoyed fishing, hiking, making jewelry and crafts. Calling hours will be held at Olthof Funeral Home 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmra/Southport Thursday September 13th from 4:00-7:00 PM with a funeral service immediately after calling hours at 7:00 PM. Burial will be privately. In lieu of flowers, her parents ask that you give to the American Life League or to First Baptist Church of Waverly, NY scholarship fund.
