Passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 5, 2004 in the Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY.Ernie is survived by his wife, Sandra; daughters, Debbie Heck and Sherri Thorpe; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Shirley Congdon and Peggy Wilson; brother, Daryl Thorpe; and several nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home Inc, 1050 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira on Friday, October 8, 2004 from 4 to 7 PM, with funeral services immediately following at 7PM.Interment will be in the Jobs Corners Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
