Ervene S. Goodwin

Was born October 4, 1911 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Louis D. and Stella (Arthur) Snover passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 26, 2007 at the Elcor Health Services in Horseheads, NY at the age of 95. She is survived by her loving children, son, Jerry Goodwin of New York City; daughter, Carole (David) Kohler of Webster, NY; grandchildren, Karen Kohler, David (Margot) Kohler, Scott (Karen) Kohler, Carrie Goodwin (Dr. Doug) Elwood and Alex Goodwin; great grandchildren, Taylor Kohler and Kamyrn Kohler; sister, Marge Kirby; nephews, Timothy (Marsha) Kirby and Bruce Kirby. Ervene was administrative assistant for the Marine Midland Bank for many dedicated years. She was a faithful member of the Christs United Methodist Church, a member of the Business and Professional Womens Club and was a member of the O.E.S Loyal chapter # 265. She also volunteered with the following organizations: Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Tanglewood Nature Center and the American Red Cross. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY 14904 on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held there on Wednesday, August 29th at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
