Esther’s most recent ambition was to go sky diving. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed. Our mom had a magnetic personality. Even on rides in an ambulance, she somehow made the trip fun for everyone with her sense of humor and laughter. You could hear her laugh across a room.A day didn't go by that she didn't break out singing. She did this right to her final days."You Are My Sunshine" was one of her favorites. She was everyone's sunshine.Your day was brighter after being around her.Our days aren't as bright now but the sky seems to be a little brighter. She was just a happy person. She made family and friends happy. She will be missed. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 13th, 2017 at 1 P.M. at Central Christian Church, 309 South Main Street, Elmira, NY. Services will be officiated by Rev. Susan Husted.
