Esther L. Wilkins

Was born August 23, 1922 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Herman and Grace (Boynton) Stadelmaier, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2006 at her home at the age of 83. She was predeceased by her brothers, Carl, Fred, Jacob and Herman Stadelmaier; grandson, Christopher Long; great grandson, Mitchell Long. Esther is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, Charles H. Wilkins Jr.; beloved children, William Wilkins of Elmira, NY; Linda Wilkins of Elmira Heights, NY; grandchildren, Allen Long II and Bernadetta Ruggiero, Michelle (Long) White and Mark Fierro; great grandchildren, Joseph Long, Allen Long III, Abigail Long, Christopher Long, Anthony Fierro, Isabella Ruggiero, Erica Wilcox and David White; sister, Mary Grinnell of Elmira, NY; sister-in-law, Ruth Barenthaler of Caton, NY; along with several nieces and nephews. Esther had a great love for all animals. She was fond of birds and had a great love for all of her cats. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 from 10:00 to 12:00 (noon) Immediately following the visitation, the family will proceed to Elmwood Cemetery, Caton, NY where Graveside Services will be held for Esther.
