Eugene Vicario

Was born January 29, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late, Frank and Florence Vicario passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at the White Oakes Nursing Home on Long Island at the age of 79. His loving wife, Mary Anne Vicario and brothers, Sal and Frank Vicario also preceded him in death. He is survived his beloved son, Eugene Vicario Jr. "Geno" of Elmira, NY; brother, John Vicario; sister, Marietta Toto; in-laws, Virginia, John and Peggy Herrick; along with many nieces and nephews. Eugene was a Veteran of the US Navy proudly serving his country. He worked for a number of years at IT&T in NYC, owned and operated The Pasta House restaurant, performed volunteer work and worked in Airport Security. His smile lit up the room. He was the life of the party. He was the heart of his family. Family and friends will gather at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his beloved Mary Anne for Graveside Services on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 12:00 (noon). Military Honors will follow the service where the Chemung County Veterans Honor Squad will accord Mr. Vicario with the honors he deserves.
