Eunice “Sarge” Pratt, 81 years old of Elmira, NY, passed away on the evening of Wednesday, November 11th, 2015. A woman who lived her life as feisty as anyone, Sarge held on long enough to see many loved ones in her final moments, before finally succumbing with her family by her side. Sarge was a graduate of Elmira Free Academy. She was a proud military veteran, serving as a Sergeant in the US Army. After transitioning to civilian life, she spent 41 years as an employee of Thatcher/Anchor Glass before retirement. Sarge enjoyed sports and cherished her time spent as a Youth Bowling Coach at the Elmira Bowling Center. She was proud of her school, proud of her service, and proud of her career. However, what she loved most was her family and friends. Sarge is lovingly survived by:her two daughters, Terre (Ronald) Green and Lois (Rick) Reagan; her three grandchildren, Ronald (Evelyn) Green Jr., Joseph (Shoshanna) Green, & Jamme (Kellie) Green; and her five great–grandchildren, Kaiden, Carter, Chloe, Gavin, & Keegan. With a heart as big as they come, she also had room to be a true friend to too many people to name, a great relative to many surviving cousins, and a “Mom” to her animals that she loved more than anything. Sarge was predeceased by:her parents, Herbert and Anna (Dunkel) Brague; and her brothers, Leslie and Robert Brague. A Military Burial Service will take place on Monday, November 16th at 11am at Woodlawn Cemetery on Walnut St. in Elmira, NY.A memorial reception will follow at 1pm at her favorite hangout, Manzari’s Grill at 105 Miller St. in Elmira, NY. The family welcomes and invites anyone who would like to share a moment in respect to our dear friend, colleague, our Mom, and our Mema. Sarge's guestbook may be signed at www.olthof.com.
