Evelyn Juanita (Travis) SmithWas born February 4, 1945 in Osceola, PA the daughter of Vernon and Gloria (Cooper) Travis passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at the age of 70. Her father, Vernon; loving husband, Lewis Smith; sister, Elizabeth Travis; brother, John Travis; mother-in-law, Freda Rodabaugh preceded her in death. She is survived by her mother: Gloria Stark of Marion, OH; father-in-law: Richard Rodabaugh; children: Edward (Rhonda) Howe of Elmira, NY; Robin Travis of Sayre, PA; Shelley (Robert) Stevens of Elmira, NY; Russell (Tammy) Smith of South Corning, NY; Melissa Marble (David Pierson) of Elmira, NY; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Rose Woodard (Dean Andress) of Elmira, NY; Russell "Dusty" (Paulette) Stark of Marion, OH; Peggy Stark of Marion, OH; Sohn (Mary) Stark of Marion, OH; along with several nieces, nephews and special thank you to her good friend, Phyllis Loscig. Evelyn was a faithful and longtime employee of Artistic Direct. Family and friends are invited to attend Graveside Services on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Woodlawn National Cemetery 1826 Davis Street Elmira, NY. Pastor Sid McCrorey will officiate. The celebration of Evelyn's life will follow at the Horseheads Eagle's Aerie #3818 115 Westside Ave. Elmira, NY. All are welcome to attend.
