Fanny Jane Lampila

Was born June 3, 1919 in Ithaca, NY the daughter of the late Walter and Fanny (Payne) Houston passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital 3rd floor Skilled Nursing Facility on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at the age of 92. Her loving husband, Charles Walter Lampila predeceased her in 1995. She was also preceded in death by the following family members: brothers, Erwin (Martha) , William, Robb (Ida) and Warren Houston; son-in-law, William J. Cusick. She is survived by her loving children: son, David Lampila and daughter, Diane Cusick; adored grandchildren: Dan (Patty) Cusick, William C. (Tara) Cusick, Elizabeth (Jeff) Quick; much-loved great grandchildren: Rachel Hill, Adrian and Joey Cusick,Jacob Gilly, Bridgett Gilly, Abigail Cusick, and Eva Grace Cusick, Glen Quick; beloved great, great grandsons,Kollin and Kaden Hill; brother, Harvey Houston; sisters, Winnie (Bob) Mace and Martha Houston; sister-in-law, Marion Houston; along with several nieces and nephews. At Jane's request there will be no prior calling hours. A gathering of her family and friends will take place on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the home of her daughter, Diane. {17 Crestview Drive West Pine City, NY 14871}Jane retired from Chapel Lumber Company after several dedicated years of service as their bookkeeper. She was a very creative person who loved painting, pottery, quilting, weaving, knitting and embroidery. In her quest to learn how to weave, she actually built her own loom from scratch and wove many items for her family and friends. F.
