Florence E. Ayres

Age 82, of Fulton Street, Elmira, NY passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was born January 28, 1922 in Jersey City, NJ. Florence was predeceased by her beloved husband, Walter H. Ayres, Sr.; sister, Florence M. White; grandson, Edward Butler. She is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Walter H. and Patricia Ayres Jr. of Elmira, NY; much-loved grandchildren, Kelly, Patty, Sherry and Mark; along with 6 great grandchildren. Florence retired from the Arnot Ogden Medical Center as a dietician after 30 years of faithful and dedicated service. Known by all as ?Gram?, she enjoyed spending her spare time as an avid bingo player. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Sunday, January 30, 2005 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Funeral Services celebrating ?Gram?s life will be held there on Monday, January 31, 2005 at 11:00 AM. The Reverend Mari Rockwell will officiate.
