Florence M. Harris 1922-2009 Age 86 of Elmira, NY, Went to join her loving husband Edward Harris, on Saturday June 27, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Elmira, NY. She is survived by her children, Walt (Sue) Harris of Elmira, NY, Gene (Lynn) Harris of Gillett, PA and Wayne (Barb) Harris of Wellsburg, NY, along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Also Sister Marion Riopko of Elmira, NY and brother, Wesley (Dorothy) Corby of Pine City, NY,. Florence was a kind, caring person who was always there to give a helping hand to anyone who needed it. The family will receive friends at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue Elmira/Southport, on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM followed by a Funeral and Committal service there Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM, the Reverend David Daniels will officiate. Florence will be laid to rest next to her husband Edward in Ashland Cemetery, Wellsburg, NY at the convenience of the family.
