JonesLoving mother, grandmother and great grandmotherJONES, Florence S.Age 92Of Millerton, PA passed away on Thursday November 1, 2007 at home surrounded by her loving family.Florence is survived by her children; Orrin Jones, Karen Wheeler and Larry Jones, also nine grandsons, two granddaughters, numerous great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, sister, Rose Pratt, several nieces and nephews. Her husband Alvin C. Jones, one brother, and several sisters predecease Florence.Florence was a member of the Jackson Center United Methodist Church; she enjoyed sewing and quilting and was also known to be an excellent baker and gardener.Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, on Sunday November 4, 2007 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM and on Monday from 11:00 to 1:00 PM with Funeral Service there Monday at 1:00 PM. Followed by graveside service in Jackson Center Cemetery. The Family would like to thank the very special staff of Guthrie Hospice for their kindness and care given to Florence during her illness.
