Florence Irene Soper

Age 78 of Horseheads, NY went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at home.Florence was born March 9, 1925 to the late Delos L. and Mary I. Hulslander Williams in Montour Falls, NY.She is survived by her loving husband, Arthur B. Soper; son, Thomas L. (Irene) Smith of South Carolina; daughter, Jackie E. (John) Carlson of North Carolina; son, Michael L. (JoAnn) Smith of Elmira; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and niece, Michele (Donne) Nichols of Elmira.Florence was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Grottoettes.Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira, NY 14904 on Friday, May 2, 2003 at 2 PM.Rev. Howard L. Hunt will officiate.
