Frances L. Beveridge

Beveridge, Frances L. Age 93, proud and devoted member of Southport. Passed away Monday, January 21st, 2002 at the St. Joseph?s Hospital, Elmira, NY. Frances was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Granger Hall. She was born in Wellsboro, PA on August 15th, 1908.She was married to the late Alex Beveridge.Surviving her are: loving niece and nephews; Anna Goda of Owego, NY, Donald Hall of Wellsboro, PA, James Williams of FL and Donald Williams of Dryden, NY.Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service remembering the life of Frances L. Beveridge at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY 14904 on Thursday, January 24th, 2002 at 2:30 PM. The Reverend David Hays will officiate. Interment will be held privately in accordance with Frances?s wishes and will take place at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY.She will be placed into peace next to her husband Alex whom she dearly missed.Frances was best known for picking the best strawberries at Farmers in Pine City. She loved to help with ?Meals on Wheels? at the Pennsylvania Avenue United Methodist Church. Frances was best known for being very independent and doing all her own gardening and yard work for many years.Those wishing may make memorials in Frances?s name to the charity of ones choice.
