Frances Marie Conrad

Was born September 19, 1923 in Silvara, PA the daughter of the late John and Essie Grose Place, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 20, 2007 peacefully at St. Josephs Hospital at the age of 83. She was greeted at Heavens Gate by her son, Gary, who preceded her in death in 1996, as well as other family and loved ones who have gone on before. She is survived by her loving husband, companion and best friend, John W. Conrad; beloved children, Myrle (Tom) Richards of Waverly, NY; Marcia Rudolph of Okmulgee, OK; Marty (Edelyn) Conrad of Broken Arrow, OK; Monty (Patty) Conrad of Tulsa, OK; Kevin Conrad of Elmira, NY; sisters, Myrle (John) Knapp of Elmira, NY; Thelma Scott of Scottsdale, AZ; along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Aunt Fran, as she was known by family and even those who werent her blood family, will always be remembered for her big heart, compassion to those in need, a shoulder to always lean on, but most importantly, she will be remembered as a prayer warrior. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Services celebrating Frans life and honoring her memory will be celebrated by the Reverend Brian Harris on Wednesday, January 24th at 12:00 (noon) in Elmira Christian Center 235 East Miller Street Elmira, NY.
