Frank E. Elston

Was born November 8, 1024 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Frank N. and Leah (Staples) Elston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital at the age of 87. His loving wife of 60 years, Lydia (Krejcar) Elston preceded him in death December 3, 2004. He is survived by his beloved children, Warren (Patricia) Elston of Sherrills Ford, South Carolina; Wayne Elston of Poulsbo, WA; Judith Elston of Lowman, NY; adored grandchildren and great grandchildren, Sean (Robyn) Elston of South Carolina with their children, Aiden and Carter; Heather (David) Catlett of North Carolina with their children, Evelyn and William; Chuck (Kathy) Stickler of Pine City, NY with their children, Eric and Toni; Julie (Dave) Farnham of Addison, NY; with their children, Lily and Tristen; sister, Sarah (George) Jones of Benson, AZ; along with several nieces and nephews. Frank retired from Ward LaFrance as a delivery engineer and then from Chemung County just last year. There will be no prior services. Interment will take place in the Scotchtown Cemetery Erin, NY at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the Volunteer Ambulance Fund Jackson Ave. Breesport, NY 14816 in his memory.
