Frank N. Grover Jr. Age 53, of Elmira, NY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 25, 2014. He was the son of Frank N. and Wilma (Leonard) Grover Sr. He is survived by his significant other of 22 years, Chris Belum; children: Jessica and Ryan; grandchildren: Gavin and Aubrey all of Elmira; also surviving are: mother, Wilma Grover; sisters, Bonnie (Steve) Krause of Kenai, AK; Connie (Rick) DeHaas of Elmira; Joyce (Dace) Ellis of Endicott, NY; along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. His father, Frank predeceased him. Frank retired as a Sergeant from the New York State Department of Corrections in 2010. During his career he worked at Attica, Elmira and Southport Correctional Facilities. He was a Sergeant for the Southport Corrections Honor Guard. Frank also organized and sent care packages to deployed officers in the service. He was respected and admired by many. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and a die-hard Leonard Skinner fan. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
