Freda Elaine Rodabaugh

Age 95 of Millport, NY passed away on Thursday May 5, 2011 at Seneca View Nursing Home, Montour Falls, NY. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Richard E. Rodabaugh; son, George (Martha) Smith; very special friends, Walter & Cindy Phillips and their children Desra (Chris) Clemons and Adam Phillips; brother in-law, Robert Rodabaugh; sisters in-law, Diane Rodabaugh, Eileen Cundy, and Sally Jane King; also several grandchildren, great grandchildren and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Lewis Smith.Freda was a communicantof St. Mary Our Mother Church. She was an Elections Inspector in the town of Veteran for over 25 years and was Chairman for many years. She loved gardening, growing her own plants and cutting her own grass. Freda enjoyed canning vegetables & fruits and crochetedmany afghans in her lifetime. But most of all she loved her husband, family and friends.The family will receive friends at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira/Southport, on Tuesday May 10, 2011 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM with Memorial Service there Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM. In Lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorials in Freda's name to the charity of one's choice.
